Fill out your profile. Encourage event organizers to forward results directly to us.
Provide any results from past competitions and future ones so we can confirm rankings without copyright noise. Provide your calendars of future events as soon as possible, to attract more athletes looking to compete for the coming season.
View us as friendly and helping the sport grow, increasing the demand for your oversight, and contributing to growth of our beloved sport. Your cooperation will be helpful and appreciated.
Whether you are advocating for the sport, the environment, or for higher standards, we need you to continue to do so. Our sport should be ethical, safe and fair. As a library of information, we are only as good as the information we have. Our limited scope means we have to rely on the judging organizations’ decisions to deem a dive as legitimate. Your advocating for transparency and fairness—in competition and enforcement— will improve the integrity of our sport.
We need you: Data engineers, Website and Graphic Designers, Photographers, Writers, Social Media Consultants, Lawyers.
Freediving enjoys only a small community of approximately 25,000 people interested in competitive freediving. In the grand scheme of things this is a tiny amount and so, if we want to improve our sport, it’s on us. No giant social media entity will save us. No venture capital will back us like cycling, swimming or SCUBA. If the need for uniform and universal information is real, there will be enough volunteered effort to make this work!
